What is Women's Ministry?
Our mission is to create environments of growth and connection for the women of TMH. Through classes, studies, regular gatherings, and retreats it is our prayer to pursue Jesus together in community with other women.

Women's Ministry at TMH Carlisle offers a mix of recurring gatherings, semester based bible studies, and occational one day or weekend retreats. Check out the details of the events below to get involved.
Monthly Meetings
Women's Book Club
Every Second Monday of the Month
6:30-8pm | Family Room, TMH Carlisle
The book varies each month. In March, we are reading The Yada Yada Prayer Group (Book 1) by Neta Jackson.
Spring Bible Studies
Taste and See (Discovering God Among Butcher, Bakers, & Fresh Food Makers) by Margaret Feinberg
Tuesdays (April 1 - May 6) from 2:30-4pm
Thursdays (April 3 - May 8) from 6:30-8pm
Taste and see that the Lord is Good.” (Psalm 34:8) Topics include You’re Invited to the Table, Delighting in the Sweetness of Fruitfulness, Chewing on the Bread of Life, Savoring the Salt of the Earth, Relishing the Olive and Its Oil, and Discovering the Liturgy of the Table. Video teaching with study guide and book, plus tasting activities.

Revelation: Extravagant Hope by Margaret Feinberg
Tuesdays (April 1 - May 13) from 6:30-8pm
What if God’s final word is really a rescue plan? Revelation: A survival guide for the suffering, a book of promises for the persecuted, and a banner of hope for the beaten down. Video teaching with study guide.

Life Under the Sun: The Unexpectedly Good News of Ecclesiastes by Hannah Anderson
Wednesdays (April 2 - May 21) from 6:30-7:30pm
Ecclesiastes is more than self-help or good advice; it frees us to ask the questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. We will search for a solid foundation for life and find hope in the One who guides all days under the sun. Study guide (no video teaching).

Online Mom's Bible Study
Mondays (April 14 - May 19) from 6:30-7:30pm
Connect with TMH Mom's (with kids 0-18) in reading, discussing and sharing topics from Cynthia Yanof's book, Life is Messy God is Good, in a 6 week, online meeting format. No need to get a babysitter or change clothes. Easy reading and no homework!
Events & Retreats
Journey of Faith with Lofty Mama
Saturday, April 5 from 9am - 12pm
Sanctuary, TMH Carlisle
Courtney Martin, owner of Lofty Momma's Gift and Coffee Shop in Shippensburg, will share her testimony; how she grew in faith through a challenging childhood and rebellious teen years, and how her dream of opening Lofty Momma's came to pass.
