Special Projects

At TMH, we believe generosity fuels the mission of helping people find life by following Jesus together. Beyond regular giving that sustains our ongoing ministry, we are inviting you to participate in our Special Projects Program; a focused way to make a lasting impact through specific initiatives identified by our staff and church board and will be updated through the year.

What are Special Projects?

Special Projects gifts can be:

An initial gift from someone exploring ways to partner with TMH, or

An additional gift for those already giving regularly but who feel called to go above and beyond.

A bequeathment or a gift from an estate.

Together, we can accelerate key projects that extend our reach, care for our facilities, and bless our community and world. This unique way of giving can be a first step for people who have yet to give to TMH or for those looking to increase participation in the ministry of the church.

If you have any questions or would like to talk more about what God is doing in your life as it relates to the special projects at TMH, you can contact specialprojects@tmh.church.

Current Special Projects

HVAC Replacement

Timeline: Open Through Project Completion

Projected Cost: Just Over $600,000

Impact: This project will replace the HVAC system in our Auditorium and TMH Kids spaces at our Carlisle campus. A reliable and efficient system ensures a positive and meaningful environment for worship and for the next generation to grow in faith.

It has been determined by the church board and staff that it would be most helpful to take out a loan to cover a portion of the cost of this project. An email was sent to the congregation on Wednesday, Feb. 11, explaining the project, why the board recommends a loan, and the process of loan approval including a congregational meeting scheduled for March 1, 2026. Use the button below to view the full email, or watch the video here for an explanation from Bob Beaty.

The purpose of the congregational meeting is to provide more information, answer questions, and it will start a week of voting. An online ballot will be available below starting Sunday, March 1 and will conclude Sunday, March 8.

For questions about details or scope of project, reach out to specialprojects@tmh.church or call the church office at 717-243-1863.

Every dollar given will be doubled through the matching gift opportunity, maximizing your impact.

The initial giving period of this project has ended, however, if you would still like to participate, select Church Signs in the drop down menu. Additional funds will decrease the amount of money that is used from The Meeting House reserves.

How to Partipate

Pray for God’s provision and leading as you consider your role in these projects.

Give by designating your gift to Special Projects or directly to one of the highlighted initiatives.

Share by inviting others to learn about these opportunities and join in making an impact.

Together, through the Special Projects Program, we are creating space for God to move—through signs that proclaim the gospel, facilities that welcome and nurture, and generosity that blesses our neighbors near and far.

Gifts can be made by choosing “special projects” on the dropdown menu when giving online, Checks with “Special Projects” can be placed in the offering on Sunday morning or mailed to the church.

Special Projects will be added periodically as we move throughout the year and as special and unique projects get identified by the staff and the board.
