Peace Promise (https://peacepromise.org/) addresses the complexities of sex trafficking in the Harrisburg region by offering outreach, intervention, and advocacy for those involved in sexual exploitation. Peace Promise operates two businesses, Good Grounds Coffee Company and Soaps by Survivors. Through economic empowerment, support, trauma informed care, training, and outreach, Peace Promise is uniquely positioned to care for some of the most vulnerable around us. MCC Thrift on Purpose (https://www.thriftonpurpose.org/) is a nonprofit thrift shop located in Mechanicsburg. The proceeds of the thrift store support the efforts of Mennonite Central Committee in their peace, justice, and relief work around the world. (https://mcc.org/) Shoppers will find gently used clothing, jewelry, furniture, household items, décor, books, toys, and much more in one place. The uniqueness of Thrift on Purpose is that they seek to provide a very pleasant shopping experience with a friendly atmosphere. By supporting Thrift on Purpose, you are doing two things. First, you are helping people gain dignity through the products they are buying and through their shopping experience. And second, you are supporting the important work of Mennonite Central Committee . When you give to The Christmas Give, you are helping provide support and economic stability for those in our community and bringing about peace, justice, and relief around the world.

The TMH Missions Committee (https://tmh.church/missions) oversees a significant allotment of our budget towards missions and ministry through local partnerships and global missions workers. We have budgeted $73,000 to support nearly 20 different local partner organizations, our regional partners, and our global missionaries. Participating in the Christmas Give will allow us to live into the wisdom of Proverbs 3:9 where we read that we are to honor the Lord with our resources, with the firstfruits and with the best part of everything we produce. When you give to The Christmas Give, you are allowing us as a community to guarantee the support and care of our ministry partners and missionaries as planned.

Brethren in Christ World Missions (https://bicus.org/missions/) is the global mobilization effort of the Brethren in Christ churches to share the gospel of Jesus around the world. BICWM exists to educate and equip the Church to make disciples of Jesus Christ across cultures in the U.S. and around the world. Globally, more than three billion people have little or no access to the gospel. Into this reality, BICWM desires to prioritize least-reached peoples. This is done through a holistic ministry approach of sharing the gospel, training leaders, meeting the practical needs of the communities, and planting and supporting congregations around the world. BICWM sends and supports more than 40 missionaries serving in a variety of locations and contexts nationally and internationally. When you give you The Christmas Give, you are allowing the gospel to reach the least-reached people groups around the world.
