Care at The Meeting House
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are the household of faith. – Galatians 6:10
Care ministry at The Meeting House is lived out differently at each of our campuses, but is united under the goal of providing care to those in our communities or helping them to find resourcing that can care for those needs beyond what we have the resources to help.
If you are in need of support from our care teams, contact one of our church offices by phone or email.

GriefShare
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
Care Teams Serving All of The Meeting House
Care at the Carlisle Campus
Care at the Carlisle campus is done through teams of volunteer leaders. Those teams include the Kitchen Team, Meals Ministry, Visitation Team, & Clothing Closet.
Care at the Dillsburg Campus
Care at the Dillsburg Campus is done though a team of volunteer leaders in the following ways:
Prayer Team
Our E-Prayer Team seeks to experience the love, power and presence of God through prayer and pursue his will for our church, community and world through the power of the Holy Spirit. They believe in the power of prayer and they lay a foundation for The Meeting House by regularly praying for our church, our leaders, and any requests that we receive weekly from the congregation. Join our prayer team below.
Care Response Teams
Join the Dillsburg Needs & Opportunities Contact List/ Carlisle Care Response Contact List:
These contact lists are for those people who are interested in helping with needs or volunteer opportunities in the TMH family or broader community that may come up, such as: providing meals, clothing or furniture needs, transportation to appointments, helping with moving, church work days, etc. When a campus church office becomes aware of something like this, that campus group will receive an email about it, and you can respond as you are able and available.
